Well things have been very busy around here!
I have been rushed off my feet with babies, hand feeding large litters and generally trying to plan what I want to do with the lines this year as i pair them all up ready for next year.
The charcoal lines have been cut back a lot as tehy were simply starting to take over at a time when I did not have the sapce to let them - so they have been cut back now to about 10 animals who shall stay pair breeding until i get my sapphire lines sorted.
The additon of new american line whites and beige males has mleft a need for the standard females to go to them in order to get the best kits out for the show bench for the future.
We have been very lucky with the sapphire lines and produced a number of strong animals from carrier to carrier pairings - some of which have been sold on and some of which we are keeping for future breeding.
We have just added a new mailing list to our site (on hte front page) wqhich will enable people to join and keep up to dat e by email no the changes that take place or the for sales which we are adding.

Well last sunday saw our best show result ever! Grat you may think - but not so.
due to new NCS rules once a novice memeber acheives a good result in the main show winning a champion class or being reserve in it, then they automatically forfeit their novice satus and move up to the main show.
Well Ambrosia - a pimk white i bre myself out of Tallow (WW) to Bart (bge) went and got herself Reserve Best Adult Mutation - a far jump up from where she was at the show before that she attended - where she was said to be tinged.
So im happy she won - but annoyed to lose my novice status now when i had the next 218 motnhs stil lto plan and get the whole herd to the level required to compete at that level.
After all one good animal I bred myself doesnt make a good herd! Shall be very interesting to see how she shows at the next show now to see if they call her tinged or not.
