Well im not sure whats going on with my char lines but they certainly all seem to be well fertile!
Today saw lobelia having her litter (fathered by Charlie). It saw the arrival of another set of triplets - the 6th this year! - 2 males and one female standard charcoal carriers. Shame its more males than females again but at least they are all healthy and seem to be farily strong - the smallest is 42g the biggest 49g - shall check those weights and sexes again later.
Ordered more pellets again today - thats over £700 worth i have bought in this year - im using a sack a week at hte moment as the chin numbers are high and so many of them have taken to wasting the pellets and shovelling them out of thier bowls! Some of those pellets have also been sold on to others I hasten to add ;) but anyone getting into chins to make money is on to a big loser! The cost of pellets, cagers, vets and elec bill for the air con more than eats uyp any profit you could expecxt to make. Not surprising so many try and getinto them formoney then soon give up - been surprising how many ahave come and gone in the two years I have been intersted in showing.
There are some more charand sapph litters due soon but am nearly at an end of all the ones that are expected now - then shall not reintroudce the pairs until nearer december so everyone gets a good rest and the babies will be the right age for showing next year.Current Mood: happy Current Music: "This I Promise You" by N'sync - Musicmatch Jukebox
